Az-Zalzala
سُورَةُ الزَّلۡزَلَةِ - The Earthquake
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
Interpretation:
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
Interpretation:
And the earth discharges its burdens
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
Interpretation:
And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
Interpretation:
That Day, it will report its news
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
Interpretation:
Because your Lord has commanded it.
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Interpretation:
That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ
Interpretation:
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ
Interpretation:
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا 1 وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا 2 وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا 3 يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا 4 بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا 5 يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ 6 فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ 7 وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ 8
