Al-Masad
سُورَةُ المَسَدِ - The Palm Fibre
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
Interpretation:
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Interpretation:
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
Interpretation:
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
Interpretation:
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Interpretation:
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ 1 مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ 2 سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ 3 وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ 4 فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ 5
