At-Takaathur
سُورَةُ التَّكَاثُرِ - Competition
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
Interpretation:
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
Interpretation:
Until you visit the graveyards.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
Interpretation:
No! You are going to know.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
Interpretation:
Then no! You are going to know.
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
Interpretation:
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
Interpretation:
You will surely see the Hellfire.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
Interpretation:
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Interpretation:
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ 1 حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ 2 كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ 3 ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ 4 كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ 5 لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ 6 ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ 7 ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 8
